Last updated: February 2026

The Social Collectives ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website at www.thesocialcollectives.com or interact with us through any of our online forms.

Please read this policy carefully. By using our website, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

When you use our website, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and message content through our contact, newsletter, and event registration forms. If you register for a paid event, payment information is collected directly by Stripe on our behalf. We never store your full card details on our servers. We also collect anonymous usage data through Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use our site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and contact form submissions
  • Process your event registrations and send you confirmation emails
  • Send you newsletters, event announcements, and updates for the Collective groups you subscribe to
  • Send you text messages if you have opted in to SMS communications
  • Manage your account and email subscription preferences
  • Detect and filter spam or fraudulent contact form submissions
  • Analyze anonymous website usage to improve our content and user experience

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Payment Processing

Payments for event tickets are processed securely by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. When you enter your payment information, it is transmitted directly to Stripe using industry-standard encryption. We do not receive or store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details on our servers.

Stripe may store your payment method on file to make future registrations more convenient. Stripe's use of your payment information is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

4. Email Communications

We send transactional emails (such as event registration confirmations and login verification codes) and marketing emails (such as newsletters and event announcements) through Postmark, our email delivery provider.

You can manage your email subscription preferences at any time by logging into your account and visiting the Email Subscriptions page. You may subscribe or unsubscribe from the general newsletter and individual group email lists, or opt out of all marketing emails entirely. Please note that transactional emails (such as registration confirmations) are not affected by marketing unsubscribes.

Every marketing email we send also includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

5. Text Message (SMS) Communications

From time to time, we may offer the option to receive text messages (SMS) from The Social Collectives, such as event reminders or announcements. SMS communications are strictly opt-in. We will only send you text messages if you have explicitly checked the opt-in box on one of our website forms. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or registration.

Message frequency: Message frequency varies depending on event schedules and announcements.

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply.

To opt out: You may reply STOP to any text message you receive from us to unsubscribe at any time. After opting out, you will receive no further text messages from us.

To get help: Reply HELP to any text message for assistance.

We do not share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. For full SMS terms, see our Terms & Conditions.
